Mr. Farrugia graduated from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations with a concentration in Economics. In 2013, he received his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Law with a certificate in Law & Business. He was a Student Writing Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and served as a civil mediator in Tennessee State Court. Mr. Farrugia joined David Weiss Law in March 2014. Since joining the firm, he has handled all aspects of lawsuits from initial discovery through trial. Mr. Farrugia has experience defending physicians and some of the largest hospitals and medical institutions in Southern and Central California in complex, high stakes professional liability matters, including cases involving allegations of fraud, battery, Elam claims, medical staff issues, and §1983 civil rights violations.
