Nicholas Weiss

Nick is a well-rounded litigator who has devoted his career to handling and successfully defending clients in complex high profile civil litigation cases in both state and federal courts throughout California and the US.
He graduated from the University of Washington in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and a minor in Political Science. In 2008, he received his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Prior to joining DWL, Nick served as a senior litigation associate for a global Am Law 100 Firm representing Fortune 500 clients in high stakes litigation, including serving as an integral member of numerous trial teams defending clients in mass tort litigation throughout the country.
He has been recognized by Southern California Super Lawyers as a Rising Star five years in a row (2018 – 2022).
He has also navigated several cases through the appellate process, including representation of public entity client resulting in a published Court of Appeal opinion. See Thompson v. Cnty. of Los Angeles, 85 Cal. App. 5th 376, 301 (2022).
